Voice Description
A deep, warm and easy to understand voice that can speak rapidly and authoritatively when required (I'm a 20-year active veteran of the US Army Reserve where I serve as a Commander), or slow, smooth and sultry. I can flexibly vary tempo, pitch and range. Frequently, those who hear my voice on calls or during presentations ask me if I do radio or voice-overs.

Accents, Impersonations, Characters and Dialects
My voice naturally has a slight hint of Texas accent, but this is subtle in that I speak more rapidly than most Southerners. I can easily navigate many voices and dialects that range from:
o Sam Elliott in any role, especially Roadhouse
o Jack Nicholson as COL Nathan Jessup from A Few Good Men
o Clint Eastwood in any role
o The good ol' boy Whataburger voice
o R. Lee Ermey in any role, especially Full Metal Jacket
o New York Jewish Old Man
My Voice Experience
Hooah! Based on my 20+ year career in the US Army Reserve, I've done voice-over work in the area of IVR/phone trees. A recent one can be heard by phoning 972 882 1500, which is performed in my normal speaking voice. I've also done the IVR/phone trees for local businesses dating back to 2005.
My Training
I have a BBA in marketing and management from Baylor University and an MBA from Tulane University. I've performed in a number of productions over the past 30 years, to include:
o The Cowardly Lion in a stage production of "Wizard of Oz"
o The Deputy Sheriff in a stage production of the Western "Shoot Out at Hole-in-the-Wall"
o Title role in character reading of "The Importance of Being Earnest"
o Lead Roman Soldier in stage production of "The Passion of the Christ"
o Pontius Pilate in stage production of "The Passion of the Christ"
