Dan Johnson is a Los Angeles based actor and voice over artist. He has trained theatrically in the University of Southern California theatre program and through the Groundlings and Improv Olympic improvised comedy schools. Dan has a knack for breathing new life and energy into both dedicated character work and strong commercial copy.

Dan began his career in voice over in 2002 when he trained commercially with David Goldberg from Edge Studios in New York City. In 2010, Dan recorded a new animation and video game demo with renowned VO expert Mark McIntyre.

Most recently Dan provided the voice for Mazda's online campaign for the CX-7. His work on that project can be heard at mazda's website under cx-7 and "watch demos". Late in 2009 he also lent my voice to the national commercial for Barleyslist the craigslist for pet owners that has recently accumulated a massive following. That commercial (and his voice) can be seen in national slots on Animal Channel and Discovery Channel.

I record on a Neumann TLM-103 mic with a USB computer interface. I can record from home and send you the audio files via the internet.
