Voice Description

I have a friendly voice without much accent. I do a good announcer voice for concert spots and voice over work. I have a very natural delivery for commercials and on air work. I have always been good at not sounding like I am reading a script. I've been on air since 1997 and am 30 years old. I voice commercials and imaging daily. I also have access to other voices at the radio station.

My Voice Experience

I've been a DJ since 1997 in Nashville, TN. I host a radio show weekdays on 100.1 WRLT Nashville and am the Production Director. I voice many of our commercials and promos. I've also voiced and produced imaging for 101.5 Radio Bonnaroo. I produce a show called Music Business Radio which I podcast at musicbusinessradio.com I have produced and edited syndicated shows and onhold music sessions.

My Training

In High School I was the sports anchor and lead anchor for our TV station. I went to Draughons college majoring in Radio Broadcasting and was the 1st student in the program to receive perfect attendance as well as a 4.0 grade point average. I have been on the radio since 1997. I've always been able to read well out loud.

I'm as good on the air as I am on the computer. I was just voted one of the best radio personalities in Nashville. I came in second place to Gerry House who has hosted a morning show for over 20 years in my market. I'm a pro tools and audio expert and install my own hardware and software. I have won 4 awards for my production including best spot produced by a radio station and best use of humor in a spot. I'm a nice guy who works hard and is good at his job.
