Voice Description

Damla Kayıhan, born in Istanbul in 1985, has a bachelor's degree from Istanbul University, English Language and Literature and is a freelance translator for long years. She was interested in music as choir and solo works during her school life. She received 1.5 year of professional vocal training from Selda Koçak Uzuntaş. Damla Kayıhan, who has a soprano voice (3 octaves), was the back vocalist of the rock band called "Ritm-i Sihir" between December 2008 and July 2009 and took the stage in various venues. She received 4-month of diction education from Tunç Arslanalp, the newscaster of CNN Turk. She leads her own symphonic & gothic metal band called "Anzeria", writes lyrics and melodies. She has an academical article as "Feminism and the Place of Woman in Metal Music" that she wrote as the university project.
