My Voice Experience

I have done re-enactments of old radio shows from the era of radio programs. I love jazz/swing music and americana from the 1920's through the 1950's so i play with my voice to imitate the way people spoke in those times, on the radio/television and in daily life! I have also done some on camera work for independent/student filmmakers. on my home compuyer i have pro tools recording software, which allows me to practice recording alot of different kinds of formats/material.

My Training

I have taken some classes through the learning annex, basically a voice workshop for people trying to break into the voice industry, showing where and how to find jobs, agencies/agents, who is hiring for these type of jobs, etc... I find myself imitating t.v./radio programs, commercials, reading anouncements from flyers, newspapers, and other printed media out loud and experimenting with tone of voice, delivery, timing, which words/phrases need to be stressed and what kind of charachter is needed to make maximum impact to the consumer audience.

Mainly I am self taught, I have been imitating voices/charachters since i was a child, one of my first imitations was ronald regan.I am naturally talented at most anything i do, I learn very quickly. I am following my heart and my gut, telling me to use my voice talent to entertain others, my parents have been talling me to do this since i was little, so, here we go!
