My Training

I have B.S. and M.S. degrees in Education and have been involved professionally in the performing arts my entire life as a singer, actor, director, conductor, and teacher. I've served as narrator with orchestras, sung everything from opera through jazz, and acted in both musical and straight theater. I have read for the blind and been a literacy volunteer for the past several years. I have also presented dozens of talks and workshops to teachers and actors on performance issues. My training has been with Denny Farrell and Stanton Davis in the Chicago area and in New York with Susan Berkley and Moneen Daley Hart. I've attended several weekend workshops with the Great Voice Company.
