During my first radio job at the age of 18, I became the go-to guy for fun, creative commercials after my first Bogie impersonation. In my 20s, I continued in radio with an afternoon radio show that rose to number one in the market (Edmonton, Canada).
My 30s took me to Vancouver and down the path of radio management until my 40s brought me back to performing where a series of voice and acting lessons lead to roles in dozens of on-camera roles in US National TV commercials as well as film and TV (including Scary Movie 4, the much talked about Watchmen and the upcoming Tooth Fairy, featuring Billy Crystal and Julie Andrews).
My first feature film as a director, and narrator, was an audience hit at its premiere at the Calgary International Film Festival.

Along with voiceover, my aforementioned acting experience has allowed me to work with some great directors (David Zucker, Zach Snyder, Michael Lembeck) who I have been fortunate enough (or perhaps annoying enough) to have closely observed and even questioned.
Since moving behind the camera myself, I feel - and have been told - that one of my strengths is getting believable performances from actors by simply allowing them to perform freely and with vulnerability.
It is a process I try to bring to my own performances, as well.
