My Voice Experience

Though I've done a lot of voice overs for films like "Bad Company", documentaries, commercials and poetry recordings, I never put them on my resume because I am primarily an actress and consider voice overs like a fun day job... a kind of pleasurable pause in the midst of the hustle and bustle of Hollywood.

My Training

My native language is Slovak but I came here at a very young age, studied with a speech teacher at Julliard and so my English is standard North American with a very subtle hint of something that just gives my voice depth and dimension and makes people want to listen to me. I have a great facility with all the European accents and am probably one of the few people in L.A. who know the difference between a British learned European accent and an American learned European accent. I graduated with a B.A. from Brown University where I was officially pre-med but secretly acting on the side. I've been an actress for 30 years. The last film I was in is called "Waist Deep" which did quite well in the box office. I've studied acting in N.Y., Eastern Europe and L.A. with brilliant teachers like Kim Stanley. I currently coach other actors on films. I also write and direct. I'm editing a documentary about a school teacher going back home to Liberia and just directed my first music video. What I bring to voice overs is my professionalism and my experience as an actress and my ability to direct myself.

My Studio Equipment

I have a digidesign mbox 2 and a Perception 200 microphone.
I use them with garage band on my MacBook Pro.
I also have an H2Zoom digital recorder that records broadcast quality recordings which I can email as MP3's
