Voice Description
It's one of those deep, masculine voices that is really comfortable. Goosebumpy if you get chills from a voice that reaches down into your cochlea and talks to you and you alone. This is a mature man's voice with sharp diction, NPR accent (neutral, though for extra money I'll do a Texas Drawl). Personal enough to get in your head or your shorts, intelligent and interesting enough to describe the life of some bacterial mat in some swamp and keep your interest. Oh. I live in Cancun so I work by wire.
Good range from working in the media from the ripe age of 14. Clients include International, National and State Tourism clients in Mexico, British documentaries and Travel interests.

My Voice Experience
I started in Radio when I was a kid, and grew up with some grand old men in broadcasting, back when we had to do it right the first time, live. Yea! I have been doing voice overs professionally now some thirty years. I think you should hear my demo.
I am fluent in Spanish, understand French and Italian and have written for English markets for the last 30 years, both broadcast and video publishing. My site, www.a2arts features my photography, writing and design. I understand the selling of concepts and projects both as a writer/ producer and as talent. It is easy to direct me.
My Training
Other than a zillion years of experience? Tina Marsh (of the Creative Opportunity Orchestra) tried to teach me to sing. But my success was in the voice over industry itself, writing and producing commercials, scripts and documentaries mostly in Texas for stations with diverse listenerships from Jazz to Public to Muzac. Leaving broadcast I wrote for film and video, voice and writing for clients as varied as Texas Governor Anne Richards, Microsoft and Gary Jobson, Texas Health and Human Resources (we're talking the 80's here). Somewhere there I won a Barbara Jordan award and a couple of Addy's.

Additional Skills
Let's see. I live in Cancun, Mexico where I write, shoot and produce for Tourism, Health and Public Services and of course, lovely crass commercialism. A lifelong addict of commercials, I am the only person I know who actually owns every Communication Arts Magazine ever printed. A 17 year resident in Mexico, my production clients include people from LA, Tokyo, NY, Munich, Paris and of course, Mexico City. I'm good in a pinch, own a 1-ton grip truck and a complete photo studio, have a wonderful Mac Voice Over audio system and booth and am tolerable.
