Voice Description

I've played everything from a 5-year old cartoon dragon to an elderly bad driver. I've made a newspaper sound sexy. I have a naturally sunny "up" sound, but can do authoritative easily. I was one of the few female voice over talents in Miami hired for "hard-sell auto" spots and I've done an entire spot of singing animal voices. According to Voice 123, my ratings are higher than 99% of their other talents.

My Voice Experience

I've been an AFTRA voiceover actress for over 10 years. I'm a great cold-reader and am known for doing things VERY fast and right - I've even nailed a donut on the first take! I've done almost 30 Science Screen Reports for Kids, I've done 100's of local spots, and some regional and national commercials; I'm the "inside" voice for many companies' on hold messaging and voicemail messaging, as well as complicated voice menus, including 1-800-PET-MEDS. You can hear my voice on many overheads in model homes, in online training programs for Ryder Systems, on Real Estate Training CD-ROMS, on the overheads at Hollywood/Ft. Lauderdale International Airport and maybe at your own veterinarian, aside from "that voice on the radio". I also was the afternoon drive deejay for WTMI Classical 93.1FM. RADIO AND TV SPOTS MUST BE AFTRA OR SAG. I AM A MEMBER OF AFTRA AND ON "MUST JOIN STATUS" FOR SAG.

My Training

Professional actress since age 16. Trained with the amazing Connie Zimet, plus a seminar/class with Dick Orkin. Soon after I started, I would get calls from other voiceover artists and engineers to bail out sessions where the originally hired talent was not able to produce as promised. I have worked hard to earn a reputation as a "real pro".

My Studio Equipment

Running Amadeus on a Mac with a Shure Beta 58A mic and light soundproofing. My mp3 sound files have been used for science films with no problem, but for commercials, you should send currently me to a real studio until I build a booth.

Additional Skills

I can speak VERY quickly and clearly for tags and legal ("tax, tag, and title not included"), and I have a huge vocabulary - technical terms do not scare me! I have some medical background, so I am familiar with a great deal of medical terminology, and I have voiced sexy spots, including narrating erotic films for the sight impaired. I LOVE doing industrial work!
