Voice Description

My voice can be described as a child that is between 5 and 10 years old. I can deliver slow, emotional reads or fast, energetic/frenetic reads and transition between them both for better effect. I can do baby sounds. My voice is quirky and can bring various small, cute furry creatures to life. I can sound like a Chinese child speaking English. I can sound like a high-pitched, squawky old woman wearing dentures.

My Voice Experience

I have voiced several toys for a show that was featuring new toys at the Toy Fair in NYC. I did voiceover for my own project called VOICE 2008. I was the narrator for a show about violence against women in NYC, a show featuring a speaker at the United Nations who was discussing ways to encourage young people to learn to conserve energy and a show about how the Chinese celebrate Chinese New Year.

Additional Skills

I can read children's books and play all the different characters to make it interesting to the target audience which is the children. I am facile at reading medical text. I would be suited for playing a child who is discussing his/her illness/treatment/tests, etc... I can be the voice for a doll or teddy bear or cartoon character. I can voice commercials featuring toys, trailers for animation, snacks or any other project where the target audience is...you guessed it, kids.
