Voice Description

My voice can be warm and deep for narrations, sexy and fun for commercials, and smooth and professional for presentations. Filipino is my first language but I speak English with a Midwestern American accent. I'm actually an English Communications (Accent Reduction) Supervisor and I teach ESL and Accent Reduction to Filipinos so they can handle calls for English speaking clients.

My Voice Experience

Ever since I was little, I always had fun voicing characters in children's stories. From elementary to College, I inevitably end up as the main character, director, or writer of mini plays and skits where we do voice over acting, especially when we use puppet characters. It has always been my dream to do voice overs and be a deejay in a radio program, be it FM or AM radio. I had a short stint with PETA or the Philippine Educational Theater Association, have been involved with college theater organizations and directed plays, trained actors as well as contestants for oratorical contests, and trained call center agents to take in customer service calls.

My Training

Honestly, I haven't attended any seminar or taken a course that specifically targeted voice acting, but I sure can learn quick. :) My undergrad course is AB English and I've taken 36 units in the Master in Communications Course from the PUP - Open University. I'm currently an English Communications Supervisor at ePLDT Ventus at the Fort Bonifacio Office (Vocativ Site 1). I've composed songs, am an avid singer and a vivacious host of parties.
