Voice Description

My singing voice has many colors...soulful and gospelly to poppy and fun. I have the abililty to ad lib, move with a song, and communicate effectively with dynamics and tones and texture. Soloing is my strength, however with that said, I blend excellently with the ability to match and move with other voices. I consider myself a high alto with D being my break.

The range of my speaking voice is vast...rich and deep, young and fun, professsional and purposeful, to quirky.

I have a great ear and good timing.

My Voice Experience

I have sung since I could talk, travelled in a band, and currently lead worship at a church of 4500. I solo and ad lib consistently. I have recorded on our worship CDs, and have also had experience in doing back-up singing on local artist's projects.

I have done voice over and background ad libbing for projects at Green Room Productions in Carrollton, Texas. The recordings were for various clients...one client is from the north whose commercial is for an employment agency of some sort plugging the various companies they have available for people to work at...this project is ongoing, one for a particular make of car which escapes me now.

My Training

I have been involved in music and some drama for as long as I can remember, so most of my training has been hands on. I sing consistently in the Plano/Dallas area.

I learned to do voice over from a friend who knows my abilities as a singer. He needed someone, I was there...wallah! Because I have a great ear and can mimic well, he would tell me what he wanted, I would sing or speak it, then he would tell me to change this or that...and we would end up with a great product for his client.
