Voice Description
I have a confident, energetic feminine voice with rich timbre and on the throaty side. My accent is essentially neutral, though with a slight Midwestern quality. My articulation and elocution are excellent under circumstances of restraint (academic or business subject matter) as well as broad, theatrical performance. The variety of my talents spans the full spectrum of voice over jobs, from voicemail to radio theatre.

My Voice Experience
I was very active in amateur theatre in high school under Judy Maret and Joe Schulte (St. Louis University Theatre Department) and during college I sang with choral groups of every size. I went on to sing professionally as lead vocalist in a 4 to 7 piece band for 20 years. My performance schedule was steady year-round (40 to 50 gigs per) and featured an eclectic mix of standards, jazz, swing, rythmn & blues, big band, rock 'n roll, disco, country/western, techno pop, etc. This band (called "Celebration") was booked extensively by Bob Kuban Enterprises. I have recorded frequently in studio and during live performances. I have provided voice over singing talent for commercial use (radio broadcast) through Clayton-Davis & Associates Advertising. I coached speech/debate teams at the elementary level for about 10 years, and have worked regularly as a reader for the audio edition of a St. Louis, MO, publication ( The Saint Louis Review on tape).
My Training
My training might be described as "on the job." Please refer to the "Experience" section for details and relevant education.
