My Voice Experience

I really can't take credit for branching into this line of work. It came to me.

While working at J.P.Morgan as a retirement education specialist, the management needed "a voice" to create on-line educational seminars. I knew the information, have theater experience as well as singing experience so they asked me. I loved it!

A few years later, still in the educational world of mutual funds, I was asked to write and create a video to help our representatives stay current on the thrilling world of compliance. We created a 15 minute video with me and one other employee acting as newscasters. It was lively, creative and just silly. But it got the job done in a way unlike any other year. We had 100% participation as a result of the newscast.

I've also had a ridiculous number of friends comment on my voicemail messages so I've been recording their messages for them for years.

But I'm ready to take this hobby to another level and explore the voice over world.

My Training

I've attended a 6-week course on voice over talent with people from across the country. We have the opportunity to fly to New York several times a year for Voice Over talent sessions.

I've also been in theater since the tender age of 5. I've been singing since then as well and continue to do so today. My vocal range includes jazz, gospel, contemporary, religious, etc. I have experience performing for small gatherings of 10 or less up to performance halls holding 4,000 guests. One of my recent shows was The Taffeta's.

My degree is in Communications with a focus on presentation skills.
