I try to to give the listener what I like to receive, a natural, inviting and kind voice while still appropriate to the material (and listener is singular because really no matter how many listeners there may be, each is "one" person with whom you want to make a connection).

I'm originally from Indiana, which gives me a base Midwest middle-of-the-road sound but I also enjoy doing Warm Country, Southern or even some funny silly stuff like a "Hillbilly Hoot" Hick accent.

Additional Skills

Quite a few years ago (more than I will reveal here), I was an insurance supervisor in a large, multi-specialty medical clinic. I was successful there, but always I knew something was missing...Hello! it was...[drum roll here], Expressive Arts! After that came universities to pursue this course.

Fast forward to today.

In addition to this addictive voice over work, I also paint - pictures, not houses, and do a little graphic and web design. These things work very well together. I believe it is because each involves some degree of "feeling" how to approach what lies in front of you.
