My Voice Experience

I do have a lot of experience in using my voice to get across the meaning of words: (teaching English as a foreign language to many nationalities for many years) . I am a good sight reader and have done story telling for both children and adults. I have done a motivational script for professional racing drivers to then do a fire walk.(Racing drivers are particularly sensitive about their feet as they are the part of their body which is broken most often in racing). No one's feet were burnt and I did it myself too. My other experience is producing educational material which has been published, coporate and travel voice overs. I have also done annoucements to the public at the Imperial War Musuem London for the Drama Workshops for the Great Escape.

My Training

I have studied at the Central School of Speech and Drama London UK.
I have also acquired more training at the City Lit Covent Garden where I studied the Voice of the Actor,Satislavski Acting Method, and I was part of the City Lit Local Touring Rep company. We took interactive workshops on Romeo and Juliet to London schools. We also did Playback, Forum and Invisible Theatre.
I have completed training and a work experience at NSPCC as a role player and facilitator.
I have completed a workshop on Story Telling and I have completed 2 courses on Acting for the Camera and attended a six week course on Big Emotions a Courage workshop.
I have acted in scenes from Odeipus, Hay Fever and a Midsummer Night's Dream.
I attended a course in Presenting for Radio and one in Broadcasting in Journalism and two courses for Acting for the Radio.
I also completed a course in Sight Reading Skills as well as a workshop in turning Autobiography into Fiction.

I speak Italian fluently and understand the way of thinking of the country having lived there and done business with Italians for many years. The kind of business I did was sales consequently you really have to be able to understand the way a nation thinks to be able to sell successfully which I did. I have acted in the film Lunch Break as the mischievious Granny.I have studied Directing at the City Lit where I directed actors in a Midsummer Nights Dream and King Oedipus.
I have recorded the part of a manipulative middle aged mother on the answering machine to her daughter. I have also recordered a selection of informative clips covering a range of subjects from medicine to art.
I have been the assistant director on a project with Faith Drama which specialises in work with disadvantaged young people in Newham.
I soley directed the Christmas Soho Revue for the Soho Community Centre.
I directed a French actress in her preparation for an audition of Cat on a Hot Tin Roof.
I have written and recorded links for Radio programmes suitable for the World Service and Radio 4
