Voice Description

My sound is probably best described as young adult. I'm comfortable with high-energy voice-over deliveries. My voice is rather young sounding, fun and professional, but I am also skilled with medium and light drama deliveries for promos and commercials. I can read a lot of copy in a short amount of time if necessary. If you have 35 seconds of copy and it needs to come in at :30, I'm your guy.

My Voice Experience

I've had extensive experience with radio imaging as well as television. I was the "Voice" of Westwood One Radio Networks for 14 years. I have narrated comedy and drama promos for NBC, ABC, CBS, Fox and the WB television networks in addition to Starz Movie Channel and Direct TV in addition to booth announcing at KPIX-TV, San Francisco; KCOP-TV, in Los Angeles and KTVI-TV in St Louis. Please check out the demos. I've been an air-personality at some of America's greatest radio stations, including KIIS-FM, Los Angeles, KFRC, San Francisco and many more. I am currently the voice for 62 network affiliated TV stations (mainly ABC Fox & CW) from coast to coast in major markets like Baltimore, Minneapolis, Las Vegas, Milwaukee, Columbus, Cincinnati, St. Louis, Jacksonville, and many more.

My Training

I've had extensive experience in all facets of broadcasting. I began seriously doing voice-over work about 20 years ago. I haven't had a lot of formal training but my background and experience speaks for itself. I've worked with some of the best promo producers in Los Angeles and I am a 5 time recipient of the prestigious "Golden Mike Award". By the way, I'm not a "prima donna", being generally affable, and I take direction well.

Additional Skills

I have a full service recording studio in my home. The studio is furnished with some of the best equipment available including the new Neumann M-149 tube microphone in addition to other Neumann mikes like the U-87a and TLM-103. I use Aphex and the new Focusrite ISA 430 MK II processing. I own many of the hottest production libraries in the business. I wrote, voiced and produced over 350 promos per year while at Westwood One which would air for 16 million listeners coast-to-coast and world-wide over Armed Forces Radio each week. I was the "voice" of Westwood One for nearly 14 years.
