Voice Description
COMMERCIAL
Craig Crumpton delivers entertaining reads that grab listeners by the ears and makes them want to listen. Craig's voice has a genuine "Guy Next Door" quality: warm, friendly, pleasant, natural, conversational, and sincere, while at the same time lively, animated, high energy, and upbeat, but always real and genuine. Craig also specializes in comedic reads, such as the hard-sell, game show announcery-style, and character voices that will get your commercial projects noticed.
CHARACTER VOICES
An award-winning Comedian, Singer, and Celebrity Impressionist, Craig Crumpton's character voices have been described by both professionals and clients alike as "phenomenal," "very entertaining," and even "hilarious." Craig has an expansive repertoire of well over 100 character voices (from children and teens to adults and seniors, and can do both male and female characters), celebrity impressions and impersonations (TV/film/radio actors, and a number of musical artist imitations), and vocal sound effects (animals, musical instruments, various background noises), as well as standard regional US and international accents and dialects.
If you'd like to see/hear a sampling of Craig's character voices and impressions, the demo link to the right is a recording of a live performance of "Casey At The Bat" in which he performs over 30 character voices and impressions. He also has a video performing the same piece recorded live in the studio, which can be viewed at the link below. This was recorded in a single take, with no edits or redubs:
NARRATION
As an award-winning Storyteller, Craig offers a broad range in narration styles from conversational to comedic, and dramatic without being over-the-top (unless that's what the script or direction calls for). Craig has a keen sense of character and timing, and a natural ability to switch easily between characters in dialog, and between straight narration and characters.
