I am a new starter who is looking to use my voice for work. I have previously done voiceovers and links for Q103 which is our local radio show. At 27 I am now looking to get into a new industry and to use the voice that so many have said I should use to its full potential
I have been working as a credit controller so am on the phone most of the day trying to get customers to pay their bills and debts. I am not sure if my voice helps me to do this but am often told that I have a great voice and should definatelty use this rather than sitting in an office calling people about collecting money. I do always get these debts collected and customers sometimes ring me - probably not to hear my voice - im not that big headed - but I think sometimes it helps.
I have a famous relative (ulrika Johnon) in the showbiz industry but dont want to just use her name to get me jobs. I want to try and o this offmy ow back. For voiceover work I think my voice stands out for itself - its not a skill but its nice and deep probably due to smoking and has a bit of a husky tone.
