Voice Description
My voice can be curt and militarily direct, or warm, soothing, sympathetic. Friendly, yet firm for rejections, smooth and charismatic for presentations. Enjoy character voices like brooding teens, introverted little girls, high strung divas, no-nonsense assertive woman, and sneaky witches, and fidgety ducks.

My Voice Experience
Between 1997 and 2002, I recorded PSA's and commercials for several radio stations including WVGS and WEAS. I participated in radio theater at WVGS with characters as a diverse as a suicidal rape victim, to Rosa Parks.
I performed "Phenomenal Woman" by Maya Angelou in several stage productions including the 1999 Miss GSU Pageant. I also volunteered my skittish duck, valley girl, latina, snobbish bear, and my shy rabbit voices to the Statesboro Regional Library for several performances in 2000.
While working at the George-Anne newspaper, I was asked to voice the office phone greeting machine. I also voiced several station IDs and PSA's for the WVGS's database.
It wasn't until joining the military and experiencing the unique hardship of being an American soldier did I learn to use my poetry as an outlet (2002-2005). I was frustrated, angry, tired, and sad due to the demands of the job and the unending cycle of the deaths of comrades. I unintentionally became a post-wide favorite, with fans and requests every Friday night. Now that I am retired from the military, I have realized how much speaking and playing with my voice has influnced not only my ability to cope, but also has become a sincere source of joy for me.
