My Voice Experience
I began working with voice-overs when I interviewed AC Milan coach Carlo Ancelotti for the Italian-language show "Sounds of Italy" at WNHU-FM in West Haven. After that, I was asked to join the station and was appointed news director by the then-general manager, Vin Burke (who was also at one time the vice president of ABC News in New York.) I spent most of my college years as news director there until leaving for WQUN-AM in Hamden after graduation. I worked as a reporter, interviewing such people as Al Franken, Governor Jodi Rell, Jane Alexander, Senator Joe Lieberman, and many others. One of my friends and colleagues came across a production and news position at WXCT-AM in Southington, located in the Hartford market of Connecticut, and got me in touch with the general manager there. I landed the position of news director in January of 2006, just after the station had changed from a Spanish-language format to news/talk with a focus on women. I'm also on call with the Hartford bureau of the Associated Press just in case they need an extra hand.

Additional Skills
I currently do newscasts and announcements on a daily basis at WXCT. That usually isn't an issue if you ask me to do a voice-over, though, as I can do them either at the station or on my home computer. I can also edit full commercials at both locations. All I need is the music bed you want and a phone call telling me when you need the work done. I usually prefer to have about half a day's notice, but longer is fine. I'm also more than happy to do something over the weekend and send it in. Feel free to give me a call any time!
