My Voice Experience
For two years, I did around 5000 commercials in every style I can think of. From high energy, hard sell spots for local car dealerships, soft and romantic for Valentine's Day specials at jewelry stores, and even played a superhero (BEERMAN!) for a liquor store. I've done upscale, downscale, and nostalgia work.
I've worked in radio and have done work in commercial spots for Hilltop Sports, Flowers by Jeannie, Firelight Galleries, and Silver Creek Liquors, among many others. All these businesses are on the Iron Range in Northeastern Minnesota.
My Training
My basic training is in radio broadcasting, with an Associate of Applied Sciences degree from Brown College in Mendota Heights Minnesota. From there I worked on-air and in commercial production at WEVE 97.9 FM in Eveleth, Minnesota.
Also, I'm an amateur musician (Bass guitar, drums) and have performed with the Twin Cities contingent of the Rocky Horror Picture Show. I've played all the parts at some point in my time with the show, but mainly performed as Doctor Frank-n-Furter.
