My voice has been described by peers and clients as friendly, upbeat, professional, and full of character and life. I am flexible and can deliver many different listening experiences.

I am a bilingual voice talent. I am equally comfortable in English and Spanish. I grew up in Puerto Rico, so Spanish is my native tongue. But I learned English at a very young age. I can switch back and forth between the two with great ease.

I also have 2 years of French and would be happy to work with a good director to get the sound you are looking for.

My Voice Experience

I have worked in the radio industry for over 10 years. My BA in communications served as the perfect starting point for a very satisfying career that has included work as an afternoon drive time host, morning show co-host, program producer, Television veejay for a local music video program in Puerto Rico in 2002, concert emcee and professional singer.

I am currently enjoying being a co-host on the Air 1 Morning Show, heard by close to one million listeners. We have radio stations in 35 states and can also be heard around the world at air1(website)

I also have a background in drama. I won first place in the forensics drama competition in 1994 while I was a Senior in High School. I went on to do plays in College, although pursuing communications remained my priority.

My Training

I studied Communications at the University of Puerto Rico from 1994 to 1998. My on-the-job training in radio started in 1995 at WBMJ in San Juan, PR, where I had the opportunity to learn under Program Director, Les Sowiak and current President, Janet Luttrell. I quickly moved on to also record on hold messages and directories for Smart Hold and Hold Plus, also in San Juan, Puerto Rico.

All of the above mentioned provided work in both languages, English and Spanish.

My Studio Equipment

I run pro-tools in my home studio, in addition to having same-day access to fully-equipped local studios in the Sacramento, CA area.

Additional Skills

In addition to providing excellent voice over recordings, I am a professional singer. I would be happy to submit a singing demo for jingles and other musical studio needs.

I am an experienced copywriter and can offer my copywriting services to help you with your Spanish or English copy.

In addition, I am also able to translate documents from English to Spanish and Spanish to English with ease.
