My Voice Experience
I have worked in radio as a news reporter for CKOC Hamilton, Ontario and CFRB Toronto and voiced commerials for the Auto Club. In major market television in Southern Ontario I have reported news, anchored newscasts and interview shows at CKVR Barrie and CHCH Hamilton. I co-hosted the McMaster Children's Hospital "Celebration" telethon for 17 years and am currently the co-creator, host and producer of "Always Good News" on the CTS Television System across Canada, now partnering into the U.S. alwaysgoodnews.ca
My Training
I have a diploma in Communication Arts, majoring in Broadcast Journalism from Mohawk College, Hamilton, Ontario and have taught on-camera presentation.
My Studio Equipment
In the process of setting up a complete home voice over and editing system.
Additional Skills
I enjoy writing,charcoal portraiture, walks with our dog, cross-country skiing in winter and swimming in summer. I also practise yoga and breath control which has enhanced my voice quality greatly! I volunteer with the United Way and St. Joseph's Health Care System Hamilton, Ontario and am a Rotary International Paul Harris Fellow.
