My Voice Experience

I have been in radio for the last twenty-four years doing everything from overnights in Little Rock, AR to being an OM in the Dallas market. I have always done production and enjoy it. Lately, I have been working for News/Talk and Sports stations. I built the stations from the ground up using my promos and an outside voice for imaging. The cluster used my for imaging and promos on the other stations. I also worked very closely with the sales staff training them on how to sell News/Talk and Sports programming. I say all of this because I understand the business of radio. I believe I can help a station in many different areas and I am willing to work with a station in producing a sound that will be professional and profitable. My approach to production is simple - be creative, be professional, and be affordable. I would rather have a long term successful relationship with a station than just a :30 spot that did not satisfy you or the client. If I can be of any service to you, please let me know.

My Training

I learned to production in the heat of battle where a sales person walks in at 5 and says they need it yesterday! Oh by the way, it was always a hard to please client! I loved that challenge. I learned to do quality professional production in a time crunch. That experience has served me well.

I try to play lots of golf, I enjoy sports in general, I enjoy talking about radio in particular programming, and most of all I am a Christian who is involved in ministry (outreaches such as prison, hospital, ect). I strive to be the best and always willing to learn in order to improve.
