Voice Description

My natural voice is deep with an announcer-like quality, but I have a considerable range and am able to do voices easily. I am proficient in using many American accents including southern, midwestern, and some northeastern accents. I also do charater acting and can mold my voice to fit many potential criteria. Examples include nerdy, uneducated, foreign (various), and other commonly used voice types. I am a native speaker of English, but I also have proficiency in Japanese and Spanish.

My Voice Experience

I have done a great deal of informal voiceover work. Examples include live radio commercials for former employers, narration for plays and other public events, and voice acting for short films by a local production company. I can work with minimal direction in situations where recording is to take place prior to broadcast. I also read from scripts well, often needing only a few takes in order to reach an optimal result. I am currently in negotians with a local company to provide voice talent for their radio advertisments.

My Training

I have no formal training, but have been using my voice talents in numerous capacities for years. I am consistently complimented on my voice quality and diction when on the phone at work and in conversation with clients and customers. I have learned projection techniques through some drama instruction and years of choral experience. I also regularly practice tongue twisters in order to maintain the quality of my enunciation.
