My Voice Experience

Hey! Maybe you can help! My family and friends are tired of me reading aloud to them. They'd love it if you'd get me out of their hair. I haven't done a lot in the voice acting world but I've done it well. I have done multiple recordings for different community theaters, both as an off stage voice and the recording that tells you to gag your cell phones and turn off your kids. I also did some promotional material for Olympic College. Basically. I'm looking to gain experience and be successful in voice acting and hopefully make a little money and give everyone around here a break.

My Training

I majored in theater in college. I took several classes in communication and vocal interpretation. I also have studied VO work with Ray Nakamoto of Nakamoto Productions here in Sacramento California. I have been an actor and singer for most of my life and have gained a wide vocal range great vocal control. I also started reading aloud to family and friends from a very young age.

My Studio Equipment

At home I use Audacity software to master my recordings. I have Dolby Digital sound and an Audio Technica ATR20 cardioid microphone as well as a condenser mic. I run acoustic echo reduction and background noise cancelling filters on my computer. I have access to two local studios with soundproof booths, full pro tools software suites. They also have multichannel mixing boards and multiple microphones.

Additional Skills

I have made money off my voice by doing marketing, and telephone support services. I also enjoy reading aloud to family and friends as often as I get the chance.
