Voice Description

I always have strangers that hear me speak approach me to tell me that: "you should really sing, fella", or "i just love that voice!", or "you should really be in radio with a voice like that!" So I decided to take their advice and search out some sort of service that could help me explore what avenues my voice could potentially take me. I have a very deep voice, really resonating and rich. Can sound very dire and authoritative or very mellow and soothing. Given an opportunity, I can also change it up or down to do approximations of other people/actor's voices.

My Voice Experience

I have had college-level experience with radio communications and production. I have produced radio spots and promos. I have hosted variety shows, performed live broadcasting, and completed several voice-overs. I have sang and played guitar in an Irish music band.

Additional Skills

I am currently a graduate student of molecular biology and have great love for science topics and the natural world. I am a great fan of many genres of movies and entertainment and have a vast repitoire of voices to cull upon. Avid reader too, so can read voice overs with emotiveness and understanding. I have been asked to perform non-denominational wedding services and to serve as an officiant specifically because of my voice on three different occaisions. I have been encouraged on several occaisions by friends and strangers to "do something with that voice of yours"
