Voice Description
I'm capable of doing voices that range in age from seventeen years old to fourty. My voice is naturally clear but I can add texture to it. I can do hard and soft announce spots as well as a real person. I am only available for recording North American English language projects with the average or Southern American accents. I also can deliver Russian or British accents. I'm most comfortable doing the average teen/twenty-something roles, but I also enjoy cartoon characters as well as announce spots. I work well on my own, but I take can take direction as well. I want to get you the best spot possible.

My Voice Experience
I've always been told that must enjoy the sound of my own voice. Truth be told, I do! I've been dabbling and practicing the art of voice acting since 2001, but it wasn't until 2004 that I decided to try to get a job doing it. For the past two years I've been recording radio and television commercials as a young adult male voice for companies all over the country through a locally based production company called "Soundscapes". Some of the companies I've recorded for have been Isle of Capris Casino, The Nebraska Pick 3 Lottery, the 1-800-BETS-OFF hotline, Happy Joe's gift cards, Capitol Federal True Blue Direct Debit Cards, Pioneer Communications - D-TV, Alegent Health, Southwest Tennessee Community College, ACS Yellow Pages, Three Rivers Communications - DSL, the Keep Arkansas Beautiful Foundation, Harrington Cancer Center, Scholastic Book Fair - Secret Codes Game Book, The Arkansas Department of Higher Education, Tropical Smoothie, The Courier, and more. Outside of the every-day-guy voice, I'm also capable of character voices ranging from cute creatures to righteous surfer dudes. Away from the mic I've appeared in presentations of "Guys and Dolls", "Oklahoma", and "Anything Goes".
My Training
In 2006 I became a Radio/TV/Film graduate from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock with a minor in theater. I've had announcing courses and a number of acting courses on my trip towards a diploma. I've also had a sound designing course with award winning sound designer Jim Spencer and worked side by side with him behind the sound-scenes of the musical "Hair" and the tragic drama of "The Diary of Anne Frank".
Early on in my interest in voice overs, I took the online course offered at as taught by Tara and Craig Strong. Then again, in 2004, I took another quick course upon landing a spot with the production and voice over company "Soundscapes". It was in this class that I learned some of the basic fine-tuning methods of the craft.
My Studio Equipment
I currently do my online work from my home and live in a very quiet atmosphere. My equipment consists of a computer with heavy storage, the Samson C01U USB studio condenser mic, and Adobe Audition.
Additional Skills
I like to think that I'm a fun guy but I take what I do seriously. I'm not ready to be done with a spot until it is the best you feel it should be because I want you to be satisfied. While I can't venture too far from the Little Rock area to record in studio, I can record from my home to high quality mp3s and have them to you by email/FTP/or CD ASAP.
