Voice Description
My voice is fairly low for a female, but not in a scratchy or masculine way. I can sound authoritative and firm for voice mail instructions, soothing for emergency messages, and lighthearted for promotional material, as appropriate.
I can convey professionalism by speaking clearly and confidently, but my stage experience enables me to be silly and raucous, too.

Accents, Impersonations, Characters and Dialects
East Coast North American is my standard dialect.
I have a lot of experience with a non-specific Eastern European dialect as well, sometimes referred to as a Gypsy dialect.
I have also used a middle-class standard British accent as well.
My Voice Experience
My voice-over resume is brief - outgoing messages for a company voice mail system in 2008. BUT!
My Training
My voice resume is varied - years of experience speaking in accent and character at Renaissance festivals as a performer, as well as Dickens-themed Christmas shows and other types of historical educational events.
I have much experience recording and performing as an instrumentalist and singer, which I am confident will translate easily to voice recording work.
Musician (violinist) in dialect:
Pocono Renaissance Festival, 1994
Pennsylvania Renaissance Faire 1995-2000
Maryland Renaissance Festival 2001-present
Numerous other historical themed performances from 1995 to present, many with Triple Take Entertainment of Lititz, PA.

Additional Skills
I attended college as an English major and have a love of the language. It is important to me to choose the right word for the job, and pronounce those words accurately. I would be happy to incorporate copywriting and editing into my projects, were it desired.
My years as a performer have taught me to not be afraid of my voice, nor afraid to go a little over the top with it, to convey an emotion or make a point. Though lackig in formal vocal training, I have had the privilege of working closely with skilled vocalists and actors for many years, and have learned by watching and imitating their technique. Several have commented that mine is a voice suited to voice-over work.
