My Voice Experience

I have been doing highschool radio for 3 years now in incriments of 2 hour shifts (KWLF 93.5). In my expirience in radio production, I have also learned some information on production and can alter my voice through Garage Band (software) to suit your needs. I have also narrated and anchored various journalism projects in my media technology class. I was picked to do voice overs for a radio play, that was used in a puppet show to teach small children the important of staying drug/crime free. I also do the morning announcements at my school, Lopez High School, for about 3 years as well. I'm always getting comments that my voice sounds very bright, energetic, cheery and pleasant. One of the speech teachers at our school, Doug Trenfield, one used me as an example in class (without realizing it) saying that he prefers listening to my voice in the morning instead of drinking a cup of coffee. He also made me a role model for how his classes should speak when delivering their speeches. I was also in theater for my first two years of high school, in which time I did a couple of narrations and was a cowgirl in a radio play. I got a part in the chorus of "Anything Goes" at my local community theater, Camille Lightner Playhouse. The director said that my voice was very lovely.
