My Voice Experience

*Production, copy writing and promotions work for radio stations in Connecticut and Boston from 1978-83.
*started "Women at Work", a promotions company that designed on-air and direct mail campaigns for radio stations across the country. 1983
*retail sales for a Marin County radio station in 1985, then created my own business that designed advertising and promotions campaigns for clients of Bay Area radio stations.
*hired as Executive Director of the Northern California Broadcasters Association, the trade organization that promotes broadcasters in the Bay Area, including San Jose, Santa Rosa, and Sacramento. 1988-90
*past AFTRA member.
*voiced commercials for clients including Crystal Geyser, Round Table Pizza, Holsten Lite Beer, Perfect Strings, Aero Delivery, plus many local retail businesses.

My Training

Over 200 hours of voice over classes with Voicetrax School in Sausalito, CA, working with teachers including Samantha Parris, Sirenetta Leone, and Thom Pinto. Other training includes Bonneville Commercial Package training for commercial radio production, reading for Broadcast Services for the Blind in San Francisco, and three years as a Communications Arts major at the University of San Francisco.

Additional Skills

I have started 2 marketing businesses, one on either coast, that help businesses get their message out there. I ran the San Francisco Bay Area's marketing organization for radio and television stations for three years. I have a voice that people always comment on, but more than that, I know what it takes to get a business noticed.
