My voice is warm and enticing for commercials, smooth and professional for presentations, and quirky/comic for character recordings. I have an RP accent, but I am originally from the West Midlands. I am skilled in several other accents to a high standard: Yorkshire, Scottish (Edinburgh), Californian, Standard American, and London.

My Voice Experience

Ever since I was a little girl I loved to be told stories, and when my mother was tired of reading to me, she would get audio books for me to listen to, so varacious was my appetite. In particular I loved to listen to 'The Secret Garden' read by the wonderful Claire Bloom, and the Narnia stories, read by Michael Hordern.

And now I am a voice artist, and reader of audio books, and it is this passion for storytelling and the vocal medium which effuses through my work.

My Training

I have a BA (Hons) Acting degree from Bretton Hall, and I did more specialized training in voice overs and Radio Drama at the Actors Centre with Bernard Shaw. I have also studied screen acting at RADA, and the Actors Centre.
