I am currently a Classic Rock on-air talent and Production Director. In addition to my daily duties, I freelance for agencies and businesses. I am currently the voice & producer of Taco John's Restaurants for Odney Advertising; annually I am recruited by Rave Communications to voice and produce spots for the local production of the Nutcracker; I have voiced station imaging for KVAB-FM; I have voiced an on-hold message with Mindpaint Studios for the Idaho State Journal; and I have voiced and produced an on-hold message for Bullydog Technologies.
I did some theater in high school that helped me with phrasing and projection. It also gave me some insight into how to direct people doing voice work. I was in choruses for almost 10 years in school and I love to karaoke, which also helps with projection, phrasing, and breathing techniques. AP English courses and being the Copy Editor for the high school yearbook infinitely helped my skills for both writing scripts from scratch and making pre-written scripts readable.

Yes, both old-school programs, but between the 2, I can make them do whatever I need. Better yet, whatever YOU need.
The first rung on my "ladder to success" was doing singing telegrams...for many of which I had to write original lyrics. I dressed in ridiculous costumes and made a spectacle of myself...which I'm still willing to do...but it helped me appreciate the luxury of radio...and NOT being seen...just being heard.
