I'm extremely versatile and great at narration and regular guy voices as well as character voices, regional dialects, various accents and impressions of specific people.
I also sing well for jingles and can do impressions of specific singers.

I can do hard-sell or soft-spoken guy next door, and my "normal" speaking voice is a youthful, adult sounding voice so can sound younger (teenager), or middle aged if needed.

My Voice Experience

I have been acting for years, and worked in radio commercials for various agencies since 2002 on spots for Nissan, Ford, Mitsubishi, Kia, Honda, Memorial Hospital, Jackson Creek Homes, Vanguard Church, Focus on the Family, etc. I have done 30 & 60 second voiceover jobs for commercial spots as well as longer pieces such as video narration for training videos, voicemail greetings, and online training tools, etc.

My Training

I was a natural born voiceover artist - I remember picking up cereal boxes as a kid and wanting to read the back of the box straight through without stopping, or stumbling. I also called radio stations and begged to be a guest DJ over and over and recorded myself all through my teen years announcing songs on the radio.

I took some acting classes in college (UCLA & Cal State Fullerton), and read books on voice over acting, but my main experience has come from doing the actual work.

Earning my bachelor's degree (in communications with an emphasis on Radio/TV/Film) helped me learn about some of the more technical aspects as well as writing aspects of the business.

I'm a talented writer and have worked in editing and advertising copy fields for years.

I am extremely flexible and don't have an ego about taking direction from clients.

I am "just" the voice and am glad to be molded or shaped into whatever particular vision the client wants. But I can also create a character if you're looking for me to provide a vision and direction for a read.

I am a quick study and available last-minute, having an extremely flexible daily work schedule.

I don't typically stumble in my reads much and usually notice my own mistakes and correct them without needing to be asked to re-read particular lines.
