My Voice Experience

When I was 6, I fell in love with the microphone while narrating a school production. Since then, my experience includes other program narrations, writing and performing sketches, recording PSA's for community agencies, moderating panels and interviewing personalities, commentating, community agency promos, public speaking, and serving as M.C.

One multiple national award-winning voice project teamed the newspaper and television with 13 schools and a famous author's story. My role was to introduce and interact with students and celebrity readers to increase student interest in reading and literacy.

I'm currently an E-Learning narration team member, regularly providing training related to digitizing medical records.

My Training

My undergraduate degree is in theater and music with work toward a Masters in Communications. I'm proud of acting awards and the many programs done working with students and teachers as an accredited professional trainer, presenting at local, state, and national conferences.

Continuing education includes classes, seminars, and certification in marketing as well as 13 years in newspaper journalism with success evidenced by a number of national awards and speaking invitations.

I perform in choral groups and as a soloist.

I have attended introductory and Masters Level Voiceover classes through Voices for All, including those for audio books and characters.

My Studio Equipment

I use Pro-Tools and have easy access to the nearby radio and television studio.

Additional Skills

Knowing how and why to communicate, write, and market a product or concept in a way the audience remembers is an important skill, and one I have honed. Voiceovers allow me to combine all the talents and skills I've developed over the years.

Education/training, both corporate and classroom, is my strongest talent, However, you will find me passionate about whatever I do. Clients always comment that they know I really care about doing a job well and satisfying client needs. Having worked for a wide variety of people, I listen well and am good at taking direction.
