Voice Description
Native language-English (from Greenwich, CT). Four octave range vocalist. Warm, sincere narrations. Read technical and medical scripts w/ excellent enunciation/pronunciation. Most of my voice overs are in English, though I've done spots in the following; I speak excellent conversational French, German and Spanish with no accent. Also many foreign accents - Russian, Swedish, etc.
Also do a wide range of character voices and a great rendition of Sally Kellerman.

My Training
It's in the blood. Father was well-known, CBS announcer/news anchor for 35 yrs, Bob Hite. Remembered for narrating Cronkite's evening news. Before that was narrator of The Lone Rranger and other beloved radio shows at WXYZ, Detroit. Mother was a casting director. Brother, also Bob Hite, senior anchor at WFLA, Ch.8, Tampa for 29 years. We often work together.
I studied opera for 3 years and am an accomplished vocal performer and guitarist who has performed solo and with orchestras of all sizes. Life-long theatrical experience, Shakespeare, Moliere & modern. I attended Rollins College in Winter Park, FL, and had a radio show there. Received my BS in Organizational Mgt from Palm Beach Atlantic University, West Palm Beach.
Grew up at the CBS studios in New York sitting w/ Dad while he would read news or announce.

I have raised a family and have a great deal of experience and a very versatile voice that can do just about anything - even yodel!
I am a former fencing champion who still competes now and then and still fences recreationally - it's all good for the spirit and the voice!
I was Artist-in-Residense for two years at The Dreyfoos School of the Arts, in West Palm Beach teaching theatre history, drama, broadcasting and fencing.
