Accents, Impersonations, Characters and Dialects
A wide range of accents from across the US including southern genteel, southern not-so-genteel and northeastern. Non-accented voices are common. A Chicago native with stops from coast to coast and top to bottom. If you need a Foghorn Leghorn or a Drill Sargeant, I'm your guy.
My Voice Experience
I have been voicing and producing radio and TV spots since 1993. I have voiced hundreds of spots for businesses ranging from funeral homes to hospitals to political campaigns. With a deep rich voice I am typically asked to voice PSA's and narrate serious topics.
I have also voiced two video games and have been one of the top 50 baseball play-by-play announcers in the country fir 17 years. I can manage a wide range of accents from all over the country and use those accents as an occasional stand-up comedian and frequent public speaker for organizations such as JDRF.
At present I broadcast 140-150 games a year for a professional baseball team and voice the majority of the ads on the radio as well as hosting, directing and writing for a season long baseball related TV show.
My Training
Training? Very little. i have taken part in the voiceover seminar, taught by Lyndie Wenner-White.
The rest I picked up through loads of experience.
My Studio Equipment
I currently work on Adobe Audition 2.0 and use a MultiMix8 mixing board with Sennheiser mics. I am fully capable of voicing and producing VO's.
Additional Skills
I have had a wide range of experience as a broadcaster in sports ranging from baseball to basketball to football to boxing as well as an in depth knowledge of the restaurant and bar industry.
I have spoken in public often for civic causes and have been involved with the Nashville Chapter of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation for the last 11 years.
