Voice Description
I'm up for almost any challenge. In my full-time capacity as a production director for 11 radio stations, it isn't unusal for me to get a piece of copy that begs for a creative interpretation. Recently I had something come to me from a client who wanted to have a spokes-character that was a Moose. So I had to create the persona of "Marty The Moose." I had fun with it and the client loved the result.
I've gotten to be a good mimic and can try to immitate movie/tv/cartoon stars. I also enjoy trying to learn different regional accents.
My strong suit is really just straight-talk. Most people can only do an announcer that is an announcer, not a friend teling you something you should know. Asides from being conversational, I've honed my acting abilities over the last 13 years and try to be real and understated in my performances.
Accents I am comfortable with include, English, Australian, Eastern European/Germanic, and Indo-Pakistani. I can do a half-way decent Sean Connery, Paul McCartney, Robin Leach or Edward G Robinson. I really like talking like Kermit, but thats not really practical.
Recently I was given some copy that I really felt should be read by a little old lady, so I did that, and sounded a bit like Granny from WB cartoons.
My voice is mid-range/tenor. I can alter my breathing to increase depth for emphasis or characters, but I probably cannot sustain that for a long period of time.

Accents, Impersonations, Characters and Dialects
I am comfotable doing English, Scottish, Scandinavian, Germanic, Italian, Indian, New Yorker, Southerner (US), Minnisota (US) in their stereotyped sounds and I can do a few of them fairly accurately too.
My Voice Experience
My voice is currently heard in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Vermont.
I've won several awards from the Maine Association of Broadcasters in 2006 and won a "Best Of The Best" from the NJ Broadcasters Association in 2004.
I'm the production director for 11 stations in Maine. Prior to that I was in Monmouth-Ocean, NJ where I did the same for 3 stations and also served as imaging director for 2. As a result my voice is very flexible. I've been a jock, and done mornings over the course of my 13 years in radio. Oh and I'm 31.
Since moving to Portland, I have also started doing voiceovers for the ABC Affiliate in the city, mostly tagging spots with the local clients information and sometimes narrating the commercial. I was also called-on by the New Hampshire Higher Education Affordability Federation to be their spokes-character "Joe College."
And the feather in my cap is that I was asked to re-do a National Ad for Arby's for a regional ad agency because the national ad didn't sound New York enough. Ask for the File, its pretty amusing.
My Training
Well, no formal training to speak of. I was a jock and kept being asked to do spots because I could be a chamelon and fit almost any need that the Production Director had. Eventually they made me the production director. I always try to have some fun with the copy and provide multiple interpretations.
My Studio Equipment
I run Adobe Audition 1.5 (have used pro-tools and prefer it but its overkill for Voicework) Berhinger B-1 condenser Mic and RE 20 dynamic mic. Valley Aduio 401 Mic Processors Compressor/limiter), dbx 15 band eq, MIA and Audioscience sound cards.
Additional Skills
I spend 10 hours a day in the studio, 5 days a week. I can turn around a commercial read :60 or :30 very quickly. I can also provide more than just the voice, but full production (sfx/vocal effects/etc)
I've also done copywriting and can help.
If needed I can also call upon a pool of talent that I work with to provide additional voices.
