Voice Description
My voice starts down in the baritone range and goes above 1st tenor using my head voice. I do narrations with a firm, confident, and knowledgeable sound using just enough low timber to help the listener feel comfortable, focused, and respected. For voice acting, I use different parts of my voice to produce characters that sound real and have depth in personality, can do local Texas dialect and characters for funny bits that have self awareness and self worth. I am comfortable doing childrens voices, animated characters. I also enjoy playing a smart-alec, compassionate, sexy, fun, paranoid, hesitant, parent, drunk, and sleazy characters.

My Voice Experience
I have done professional theater since age 3 in Community Theater, Dinner Theater, Improv, and radio play. My singing eperience is with garage bands, grade school choir 4th thru 8th grades, Bass section leader of Navy choir in Bootcamp, and even a karaoke contest winner.
My Training
Bob Michaels Voice-Over and Voice Acting I, April 11th thru May 9th, S.T.A.G.E., Dallas, TX
Bob Michaels Voice-Over and Voice Acting II, May 23rd thru June 20th, S.T.A.G.E., Dallas, TX
Also Speech, drama, and choir in grade school. I competed in speech tournament in the Prose catagory, creating and expressing different characters that conversed with each other.
The experience I gained from 18 months of Improv has been the greatest because of learning to let go and become a character and to do the oposite of what the audience expected. As the part time director of the Improv group I learned how to pace myself and my performers, set goals and achieve them, create skits and characters and help the performaers create full, robust characters

Additional Skills
As management in food service I learned customer relationship skills that have helped me to provide a friendly and warm personality.I also gained some language skills in Spanish that will help in jingles aimed at the Latino marlet. I learned a lot about different types of characters from practicing cartoon character voices and singing a wide variety of music in rock and heavy metal bands and how to recreate characters and voices. I really enjoy doing the unexpected.
