Voice Description
My voice has been described as urban yet laid-back. I can be the guy next door, or perhaps as "smooth" as the guy selling the Lincoln in the "urban-oriented" demographic.
I'm also capable of going to the opposite, the guy that's just not "cool" or "hip." My voice age would range from young adult to senior.
Man, I just reread what I typed... how lame. I like to be the nerdy guy that's out of the loop. I can cover a number of voice styles, and I'm thankful for anyone that listens to my demo.

My Voice Experience
Just because I have worked in radio over the past 5 years, does that mean I have a radio voice? Sure, but not in the Wolfman Jack or Gary Owens sense. I've voiced spots on Top 40 radio, which allow my voice talents to range from the serious PSA's to the high-energy club events.
I've done multi-voiced spots for clubs (Club Millennium, Club X-Static, Club @)and car dealerships (Cal Worthington, JPS Cars, U-Park, We Sell) in and around Anchorage. I've done voiceover work in TV spots for auto repair shops (Lightspeed Lube Center) and restaurants (Sicily's Pizza).
My Training
The "training" that I have had has been mostly on-the-job. Being in CHR radio allows me to do the prank calls, and the different voices needed for creative radio spots.
And... watching cartoons. Hey, Bob Bergen said that he watched cartoons growing up, and he's awesome, so yeah, I've had.... "informal voice training" since the days of Transformers (the original, of course!).
