Voice Description

I have been professional actor/singer for over three decades which experience ranging from singer/songwriter recording artist to major musicals throughout the USA and UK. My voice over work has ranged from film trailers, commercials, and on-camera narrations to character voice for animation. As a singer my range goes from deep bass into high bari-tenor. For voice-overs my range can be from rich resonance and laid back to quirky off-the-wall high-energy zanified character work.

My Voice Experience

I am a member of American and British Actor's Equity with credits ranging from principal roles in USA national tours of Jesus Christ Superstar and Hair to London West End musicals of Les Miserables and Chess. In the mid 1970's I was signed to Paramount Records with the recording group Meadow which included Laura Branigan and Walker Daniels (original lead in Hair). As a singer-songwriter I have a catalogue of over 600 songs, produced and released several albums and continue to write, record, and do concerts. I also have scripted and written songs for musicals. Throughout the past several decades I have done voice-over work on and off camera from narrated documentaries or industrials to commercials and character animations. I have also trained and worked as a radio announcer.

My Studio Equipment

In my home recording studio I am transitioning from digital tape (several DAT recorders and Fostex RD 8) to computer recording (Logic Pro and Pro Tools.) I also have the means to record direct to CD. We are equipped with both MAC and PC computer systems. I have a Yamaha Pro 1 digital automated mixing board and various professional recording microphones. I also have several high end acoustic guitars, an electric guitar and bass, keyboard, and digital drums.
