My Voice Experience
I began using my voice at 17 when I had my own radio show in Oklahoma. I lied about my age so I could intern at the local radio station and I enrolled in college early so I could DJ at the local college. I then became a cheerleader for the University of Oklahoma. After that, I was bit by the acting bug. After much pleading with my parents I moved to Dallas and began acting and dancing in local productions. Bored with that scene I picked up and moved to Arlington to study Theatre at the University of Texas at Arlington. It was there that I met and trained with Betty Buckley. She gave me instruction on my acting and my voice and then I moved to Los Angeles where I booked a small movie role on a 9/11 movie "The Flight that Fought Back" which was nominated for an Emmy award. I spent the next few years working as a spokesmodel for various brands and I would be happy to provide those brands per your request.
My Training
Journalism Major at the University of Oklahoma. Learned proper Standard Midwest Dialect, Teleprompter and Radio.
Theater Major at The University of Texas at Arlington. Performed in plays, short films and some ADR work.
