British - Sophisticated "Welcome to Sunday thee ah tah" or down and dirty street trash.

Irish, Newfoundlander (Newfie) - fast & furious, lively, mischievous, loyal and trustworthy

French - pushy, self-centred Parisian or ditzy Canadian

German - More than just "zis" und "zat", you could say an Austrian "AHH NULD" with "ahh-dit-tood".

Mexican, Latino - available in "over the top" or subtle versions. Can sound sinister ("feeelthy seester") or sophisticated like Ricardo Montalban.

My Voice Experience

As a kid I used to supply the voices for the actors on TV with the volume turned down. I soon realized I could easily shape my voice to get any desired result.

My voice has been used in IVR telephone systems, web-based learning programs, training videos and security awareness training tutorials.

I like to discover new and exciting things about my voice with each project I undertake.

My Training

I have a BA in English, an Associate Engineering Degree, as well as certificates in Training & Development.

I have a certificate in Communication Dynamics from the National Institute of Broadcasting and have attended a number of workshops through the Learning Annex with CityTV in Toronto.

My Studio Equipment

For demo masters, I can use MetalWorks (www.metalworksstudios.com), a neighborhood studio. I also have a dedicated computer for laying down audio tracks using Adobe Audition.

I use a Koss CS-100 headset/microphone combo since it has excellent accuracy and is comfortable.

Additional Skills

I am a writer by profession and I bring great depth and realism to each of the character voices I portray. I consider it a gift to be able to hear the different inflections in the human voice and to "replay" them accurately.
