My Voice Experience

I have worked in radio on and off since 1993. I especially enjoy audio production. It gives me the flexability to be more creative with my vocal range. I have also done voice work for the West Georgia Museum which awarded me the opportunity to tell the story of many different displays within the museum at the push of a button. I co-hosted a radio sports talk show which I really enjoyed. It gave me more freedom to branch out and really use some personality that sometimes you don't get to do jocking records. I have also done some mobile jocking which gave me the opportunity to put on a show for which I recieved much praise, not only from the owners of the company, but also from the clients. I have also done some sports broadcasting. I did play-by-play for the Rome Gladiators, a professional basketball team in the World Basketball Association, and was a color commentator for the Rome Renagades, a profesional indoor football team. Since I have a deep love for sports, these were a dream come true in the world of broadcasting for me.

My Training

I attended the Connecticut School of Broadcasting in Atlanta, GA in 1993. I am proud to say I was the first one in my class to get a paying job in the radio business, even before I graduated. I have always worked hard at honing my skills, whether it was live on-air, or clipped down the hall. I am my own worst critic and never finish a project until I can walk away from the mic knowing that I not only pleased myself, but more importantly the client.

My Studio Equipment

I have an HP Pavillion computer with digital quality sound. I also have a 10 channel mixer and a Shure SM58 microphone. For editing, I use Adobe Audition 3.0

Additional Skills

I have always been a people person. I drove a truck for several years before getting in to the radio business. The similarities are simple. Have a smile on your face, whether you are delivering an order to a customer, or delivering a vocal presentation live on-air, or in the production room.
