Accents, Impersonations, Characters and Dialects

I have a slight southern accent naturally, but can accentuate it for humor, or complying with a character requirement. I can also do a decent impression of a Boston accent, and do an excellent latin accent. I speak Italian, some Spanish and some Mandarin Chinese.

My Voice Experience

I am the recording voice behind 'The Liberty Minute'. Outside of singing, this is my only experience with doing voice work. I speak at professional engagements, and have occasionally performed as master of ceremonies for different events. I often imitate commercials on TV and radio, and my friends often say they like MY version of the commercial better!

My Training

I studied and trained in vocal music since the 5th grade, culminating with my selection to the California All-State Honor Jazz Choir in 1992. I've had speaking roles in several on-stage productions, participated in the Toast Masters organization and spoken at several events. I have been the voice of The Liberty Minute since March 25th, 2011.

My Studio Equipment

I record all of my material using the GarageBand program on a new Macintosh Computer. I utilize a blue snowball condensing microphone.

Additional Skills

I'm extremely familiar with the GarageBand recording studio, to include addition of special effects, sound effects, editing, mixing, enhancing, and exporting files to mp3 format. I've used this program to record songs with 6 part harmony!
