My Voice Experience
I did an audio book and posted it on YouTube. The video is poor quality but it is in the reading the first four chapters of Eragon by Christopher Pallonie. I was having problems with my speakers and mic at that time.
I was in speech league, I won fourth place in districts for the Raven by Edgar Allan Poe. I have also won second place, third place, an honorable mention.
I have tried out for a voice over before for a show on YouTube. However I was not chosen due to the fact they had already assigned and prominence parts to other people. I am on their list if ever they need an extra voice.
If you would like to check out my YouTube channel. It is marchofwolves the link address is this http://www.youtube.com/user/marchofwolves/videos
I plan on uploading the full book, and redoing the first six pages.
I played alto saxophone in marching band, was a finalist in speech league, went to drama and creative writing class. I have also been in choir in high school. I have also done a full-length presentation on machine shop workers for senior project. I have recorded my voice to better train it for both choir and speech league.
My Studio Equipment
I really don't have a studio I am currently an employee, so I'll use the microphone on my lap top. And a very quiet room which have awesome acoustics I might add. I plan on upgrading majorly once I get the money saved up. I have sound editing programs as well as video editing programs.
when I was a kid I got very bored so I would sit for hours and play with my voice. I was in the talent show where I made noises and then make characters I knew like stitch from Lilo and stitch and made noises like cats etc.
