My Voice Experience

I have such a love for voice overs. Every time I get into a sound booth and put the cans on I get a huge rush. My first voice over jobs were a few spots for Church's Chicken and Waffles. I am a bartender and it was easy for me to draw upon a welcoming, soothing, and excited voice to sell a product. I then narrated a documentary about the 1920's and flappers called, "Flappers, Speakeasies, and the Birth of Modern Culture". It's aired all over the United States on PBS affiliates. I am also the voice of the first female silent era movie star, "Mabel Normand" in an upcoming documentary about her life in which Academy Award Winning Actress, Shirley Jones narrates.

My Training

I graduated University of California, Santa Cruz with a B.A. in Theatre Arts.
I was a California Art Scholar having been accepted into the California State Summer School for the Arts.

I am an actress. Having trained and worked in the theatre and in film, I know how to bring a character to life, whether it is someone enjoying a candy bar or someone hurting for the loss of a loved one. Voice acting is the same as any other acting and the challenge I meet with enthusiasm and skill is to express everything the physical and emotional body experiences into the sounds from your voice. I love this art form because you are free to create a persona for people's imagination to conceive.
