My Training

Christi Bowen received her Bachelors degree in Broadcast Production/Operations from the University of Florida. While there she began her career as a DJ at Rock 104. She also worked as the Assistant Production Director and wrote, produced and voiced many local & regional radio commercials. This is where the love of the Voice Over began.

After graduating, Christi became a producer at a cable company in Nashville, TN. Part of the producing responsibility was to voice local commercials for the Ad Sales Department. She also created, wrote and voiced an ad campaign for the local cable franchise.

Voice work has continued to come Christi's way from the projects she's produced and working with many different producers over the years. Turning her attention to it full time over two years ago, Christi has developed an even greater depth to her work.

Christi has taken a classes with Nancy Wolfson, Joyce Castellanos, Audio Producer Michael Bornheim, Voice Actors Rodney Saulsberry, Harlan Hogan, Tori Hartman, Joe Loesch and Bettye Zoller.

Christi continually takes classes and looks for ways to hon her skills.

As a former Creative Producer, Christi understands how to read and breakdown a script...she worked with them for years. She also understands the language of a producer, director and copywriter. She's been where they are and had to direct talent as well.

Medical narration is quickly growing to be one of Christi's top skills. She may not be a doctor but she sounds like one!

Christi is also a mom, so she knows the "Mom voice" that can be needed at times...supposedly, this also works well on spouses and audiences.
